BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A small to medium sized evergreen tree

GROWING PERIOD
Fast-growing perennial.

COMMON NAMES
Keora, Kandal, Kylanki, Marama, Kanbala.

FURTHER INF
Keora occur in tidal forests of India, Bangladesh and Myanmar. It is often found on new alluvial land thrown up in the form of islands or flats in the bends of tidal rivers. Yearly yields may be about 30 m3/ha. (pH estimated by the compiler).
