BRIEF DESCRIPTION Evergreen tree. GROWING PERIOD Perennial. Trees have reached 2-2.5 m after 10 years in very harsh environments in northern China. COMMON NAMES Pinus sylvestris. FURTHER INF The tree can be found in northern China at elevations between 200-1000 m. It occur on rolling land and between sand dunes in areas where the wind in the spring at time reaches speeds of up to 90 km/h. (pH estimated by the compiler).
