BRIEF DESCRIPTION A large evergreen tree with bluish feathery foliage. Reaching a height of 30-55 m. GROWING PERIOD Perennial. COMMON NAMES Blue pine, Kail, Beyar, Biar, Haz. FURTHER INF In the Himalayan, blue pine can be found at elevations from 1300 to 4000 m. In rainfall regimes of about 250-800 mm the tree will only thrive if it has access to other water reserves.
