In India flowers appear from April to June, the red berries commence ripening in August-October, and through the winter. COMMON NAMES Himalayan holly, Kanderu, Shangala, Kandlar, Diusa dodru, Drunda, Kanjlu. FURTHER INF Himalayan holly can reach a height of 12-15 m. In India, it is adapted to a relative humidity in July from 60-90% and in January from 60-80%. In India, it can be found at elevations from 1500 to 2900 m, sometimes extending up to 3350 m. |
