BRIEF DESCRIPTION A grass reaching a height of 0.6-2 m. USES Used as a forage grass. GROWING PERIOD Perennial. COMMON NAMES Basin wildrye, Giant wildrye. FURTHER INF Basin wildrye occurs in western United States. It is most successful in dry areas below 3000 m.
