BRIEF DESCRIPTION A spreading shrub, creeper or small tree usually 2-5 m tall, but can reach a height of 15 m and the branches may reach a length of 20 m. It has white flowers and small fruits. USES Most parts of the plant have medicinal properties. GROWING PERIOD Perennial. COMMON NAMES Kinkeliba, Kinkeliba bark, Randga, Paramerga, Lardaga, Kolobe, Koubou, Gugumi, Gieze, Landaga, Geza, Obi-agwu, Mlama muepe, Okan. FURTHER INF Scientific synonyms: C. altum, C. floribundum, C. parviflorum, C. raimbaultii. Kinkeliba can be found at elevations between sea level and 1000 m. It is drought and fire resistant. Mentioned as a possible agroforestry species. (pH estimated by the compiler).
