BRIEF DESCRIPTION A 5-12 or 14 m tall tree, with a columnar habit in close stands, while more open growing specimens have a wider crown. GROWING PERIOD Perennial. COMMON NAMES Rock sheoak, Granite sheoak. FURTHER INF Scientific synonym: Allocasuarina huegeliana. Rock sheoak is native of the inland dry areas of southwestern Western Australia, at latitudes between 25-35°S. It can be found at elevations between sea level and 450 m.
