BRIEF DESCRIPTION A rhizomatic grass. USES Used for grazing and hay. GROWING PERIOD Long-lived perennial. COMMON NAMES Quackgrass, Twitchgrass, Coughgrass, Couch, Twitch. FURTHER INF Quackgrass is native of Europe. It is common in waste areas and along ditchbanks and roadsides. Because of its aggressive habit of growth, it is often a serious weed in cultivated croplands, gardens and orchards.
