BRIEF DESCRIPTION An small tree with a short trunk and an open crown reaching a height of up to 20 m. USES The wood is hard and heavy and can be used as fuel and for posts, rails, and poles. Leaves can be used as fodder for cattle and sheep. The tree can provide light shade and shelter. GROWING PERIOD Relatively slow growing perennial. COMMON NAMES Boree. FURTHER INF
Boree occurs in central and eastern Queensland, Australia within the latitudinal range 18-27°S at elevations between sea level and 450 m. It is mainly found on very gently undulating topography, gentle slopes, or in shallow open valleys. It fixes nitrogen.
