BRIEF DESCRIPTION A small erect tree reaching a height of up to 6-13 m. The trunk is usually 1-4 m tall. USES The wood can be used as tunery and for firewood. The tree is a useful windbreak, it can provide shade and shelter and forage and it is used as an ornamental. KILLING T Frost resistant. GROWING PERIOD Perennial. COMMON NAMES Myall, Weeping myall, Boree. FURTHER INF Myall occur in southeastern and eastern Australia at elevations between sea level and 500 m. The tree occur naturally within the latitudinal range of 20-35°S. It can be found on low plateaux or tablelands and on undulating or flat alluvial plains. The tree is drought hardy and it fixes nitrogen.
