BRIEF DESCRIPTION A small spreading tree or rounded shrub reaching a height of 3-5 m. USES The wood can be used as fuel and the tree can provide shade, shelter, and windbreaks. GROWING PERIOD Moderately fast-growing perennial. Withstands a dry season of 10 months or more. COMMON NAMES Grey myall, Myall-gidgee, Northern myall, Shubby mulga. FURTHER INF Grey myall occurs in central-southern Australia within the latitudinal range 21-29°S at elevations between 100-700 m. Main occurrence is between 25-28°S at elevations from 300-500 m. It is usually found on plain to gentle undulating country. In the dries areas it occurs on flats and depressions receiving run-of water.
