GROWING PERIOD
Perennial evergreen tree, can be grown on 15 years rotations for firewood.

FURTHER INF
In Australia, the tree can be found at latitudes within 25-37°S at altitudes between 25-1000 m, but mainly below 700 m. In India, it can be found between 1200-2500 m. In Australia, the tree can reach a height of 6-12 m, and in India, it attains heights of up to 30 m. The species is indigenous to New South Wales in Australia. The tree is drought hardy. Mentioned as a possible agroforestry species. Optimum annual wood production in Australia is 6-16 m3/ha, and in India up to 25 m3/ha. In Hawaii, Indonesia and Colombia the tree has been declared a noxious weed, because it spreads rapidly by seed and root suckers, crowding out other plants.
