GROWING PERIOD Perennial grass. COMMON NAMES Drought grass, Seashore cebtipede grass, Suket resap, Rumput kerupet, Rumput kemarau, Rumput tembaga jantan, Ya-waitham, Mom'trui. FURTHER INF Scientific synonyms: I. repens, I. glabratum, Andropogon repens. Drought grass is native of East and South-East Asia. It can become a weed in many annual and perennial crops, and it can develop into huge thickets in drainage canals and ditches. Dry matter yields may be up to 25 t/ha. (pH estimated by the compiler). |
