BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A tall deciduous or evergreen tree reaching a height of 40-50 m and a diameter of up to 150 cm. The form is very good with an exceptionally straight and cylindrical bole. Mature trees are buttressed.

GROWING PERIOD
Perennial.

FURTHER INF
Obeche is native of West Africa. It can be found at elevations from sea level to 900 m. The latitudinal range of natural occurrence is 0-10°N. Annual wood production potential is 6-18 m3/ha.
