BRIEF DESCRIPTION A tough desert grass with erect culms up to 60 cm tall. USES Used as a pasture grass and cut for hay. KILLING T Frost resistant. GROWING PERIOD Perennial growing in spring and autumn. COMMON NAMES Needle grass, Feather grass, Spear grass, Aahem, Adein rhazel, Aadame. FURTHER INF Needle grass can be found at elevations between sea level and 4000 m.
